Call for Expressions of Interest for positions in the Northern Ireland Clinical Research Network

 

NICRN Diabetes Co-Lead
Professor Vivienne Coates has decided to step down from her co-lead role for the NICRN Diabetes clinical specialty group and so The NICRN are looking for Expressions of Interest (EoI’S) from any interested diabetologists. As an introduction, the co-lead roles are salaried positions with 1 PA allocated per person.  This must be agreed in your job plan with your employer prior to commencement. Positions are approved initially for 3 years with the possibility of a further 3 year extension with Directors approval.  
 
Attendance at the national clinical speciality group meetings is expected (3/4 per year) and all travel costs are reimbursed. If more that 1 EOI is presented then the format of selection will be via short interviews chaired by the Director of the NICRN and representation from the HSC R&D Division and another clinical speciality lead.

NICRN Stroke Clinical Co-Lead
In his role as NICRN Stroke co clinical lead, Dr Michael Power has informed us of his retirement and so the NICRN are looking for Expressions of Interest (EoI’s) from any interested geriatricians/stroke physicians. As an introduction the co-lead roles are salaried positions with 1 PA allocated per person. This must be agreed in your job plan with your employer prior to commencement. Positions are approved initially for 3 years with the possibility of a further 3 year extension with Directors approval.
 
Attendance at the national clinical speciality group meetings is expected (3/4 per year) and all travel costs are reimbursed. Dr Stephen Todd, Consultant Geriatrician has decided to step down from his co-lead role for the NICRN Dementia clinical specialty and the NICRN are looking for Expressions of Interest (EoI's). As an introduction the co-lead roles are salaried positions with 1 PA per person.  This must be agreed in your job plan prior to commencement. Positions are approved initially for 3 years with the possibility of a further 3 year extension with the Directors approval.

Attendance at the national clinical speciality group meetings is expected (3/4 per year). If more than one EOI is presented then the format of selection will be via short interviews chaired by the Director of the NICRN and representation from HSC R&D Division and another clinical speciality lead.
