23 Nov 2018 - Public Health Science: A National Conference Dedicated to New Research in UK Public Health

Event Date:
2018-11-23
Who is affected by food poverty in Ireland? Precision Public Health - an oxymoron for our times? What is the role of public health in responding to mental health and wellbeing needs after mass casualty incidents?

These are just three pieces of research that will be presented at Public Health Science: A National Conference Dedicated to New Research in UK Public Health. The conference will be held at Riddel Hall, Queen’s University, Belfast, on Nov 23, 2018.

This year for the first time there will also be a free pre-conference event on Nov for early career public health researchers and practitioners. You can book your place at the conference (and the ECR workshop) at the HG3 booking website here.

This multidisciplinary event aims to showcase exceptional talent in the UK public health research community. The conference will present work spanning all aspects of public health and using a full range of methodological approaches.

The core of the event will be comprised of oral and poster presentations of peer-reviewed abstracts published in The Lancet full programme online here
