26-28 May 2026 - Evidence Synthesis Ireland Summer School

Event Date:
2026-05-26

This hands-on, three-day summer school is the perfect next step for anyone looking to deepen and refresh their evidence synthesis skills. Through interactive lectures, discussions, and practical exercises, you'll learn how to conduct systematic reviews and evidence syntheses that can influence research and policy decisions. You'll cover topics including formulating research questions, developing a systematic review protocol, conducting comprehensive literature searches, study selection and data extraction, assessing risk of bias, quantitative and qualitative synthesis methods, and using tools like GRADE to evaluate the certainty of evidence.

While the course has a health focus, the methods taught are applicable across multiple fields so whatever your area of work, this summer school has something to offer.
