Registration is now open for the All-Island Biobank Symposium 2026, taking place on 23 October 2026 at Riddel Hall, Queen's University Belfast. This exciting event will bring together the biobanking community from across Ireland to discuss the future of biobanking and its impact on research, healthcare, and patient outcomes.
We are particularly keen to encourage early career researchers to participate in the Dr Stephen McQuaid Early Career Researcher Gold Medal Award. The award celebrates innovative research that has been supported by or has utilised biobank resources and includes a £500 Academic Development Prize. To read more and apply click here.
If you have students or early career researchers in your networks, please encourage them to submit an abstract before 4 September 2026. Selected applicants will be invited to present their work as posters during the symposium.
