Ulster University has hosted a three-day global conference to explore care and support for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The International TrueNTH Sexual Health Symposium is part of a global initiative led by the Movember Foundation aimed at tackling critical areas of prostate cancer care.
The event brought together an international network of clinicians, academics, patients and healthcare organisations from the UK, Canada, Australia, the United States and New Zealand to discuss the best and most cost-effective models for improving prostate cancer survivorship care and support.
Early this year, world-leading researchers at Ulster University won £430,000 to lead the UK Sexual Health TrueNTH programme to improve the sexual health of men, and their partners, after a prostate cancer diagnosis.
HSC R&D Division is providing funding to this initiative at Ulster.
