12 Feb 2020 - Dementia Care Research Summit 2020 Livestream

Event Date:
2020-02-12

Alzheimer’s Society, the NIHR and the ESRC are bringing 80 leading care researchers, clinicians and policy makers together at the ‘Dementia Care Research Summit 2020’.  Register here to join a live stream of the day as well as the online discussions.

Care research goes beyond finding drug treatments to slow disease progression, addressing the daily challenges of living with dementia as the condition progresses and finds solutions to help people manage better. And yet, only 12 per cent of all dementia research funding in Europe addresses health and social care challenges (2016).

The first ‘Dementia Care Research summit’ will celebrate successes in dementia care research to date, review the landscape today and consider what the next steps are for the research and policy community.

  • Date: Wednesday 12 February 2020
  • Time: 9.00am – 4.30pm

Once registered, we will be in touch closer to the event with details of how to join the live stream as well as a full programme of the day.
