What: CarerEngage Round Table 1 - Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) in Research with a Focus on Family Caring

Care Alliance Ireland and the UCC Institute for Social Science in the 21st Century, with funding from the Irish Research Council (New Foundations) invite you to the first in a series of free digital round table events taking place over the next 12 months. This series has been designed to address the project goals of centering and embedding family carers in the co-production of carer research, supports and policy.
Pre-recorded presentations from Dr. Jon Salsberg (University of Limerick) and Dr. Nikki Dunne (Family Carers Ireland) will be available prior to the event - Aisling Harmon (PPI participant expert and family carer) will then provide the family carer persective before participants break into groups to discuss their experiences to date, what works well and how the sector can respond to increasing need for PPI involvent.
