You are invited to the launch of the research report: Personal and Public Involvement (PPI) and its impact – Monitoring, measuring and evaluating the impact of PPI in Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland.  The research was undertaken to examine the current state of Personal and Public Involvement in Northern Ireland and engaged with a wide range of staff, service users and carers.  The report has produced a set of recommendations which will inform the future direction of PPI work in Northern Ireland.

The research was commissioned by the Public Health Agency (PHA) and the Patient and Client Council and funded by the Health and Social Care (HSC) Research and Development Division (R&D), PHA. The research team involved academic staff from Queen’s University, Ulster University and researchers from a user, community and HSC background.
