Pioneering Partnerships is an annual event organised by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) and National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
These webinars provide an educational experience for attendees with experts by experience as the teachers. Our aim is to inspire and inform the sector through asking fundamental questions of, and exploring case studies from, those who have explored and developed new ways of partnering.
Key Aims:
- Provide tools to support researchers in conducting and delivering PPIE (public and patient involvement & engagement) activities
- Discuss and explore the role of the sector in imbedding PPIE across research
- Provide a platform to share best practice
why are we organising it?
To empower and equip researchers with the tools and confidence to deliver PPIE activities.
We want to inspire medical research charities, industry, and our partners to work in different ways to benefit patients.
We want to showcase examples where people have established better establish links with the experts by experience and created a more welcoming and relevant research environment.
