Simon joined the Academy of Medical Sciences in October 2019 as Executive Director. Prior to joining the Academy he was the NIHR National Director for Patients, Carers and the Public and Chair of Involve and, before that, Chief Executive at the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC). He is passionate about public involvement, engagement and participation in research.
We look forward to welcoming Simon who will look back over his long career in public involvement in research and what the future might hold.
