Public Involvement Enhancing Research (PIER) NI, HSC R&D Division are delighted to announce a workshop with Mr Simon Denegri (OBE) on the Impact of Patient and Public Involvement in Research. In his role as National Director of Patients, Carers and the Public with NIHR, Simon leads the work on Impact, chairing both national and international working groups. This workshop will provide the opportunity for people to hear about progress in this field, his perspective on future directions and the chance to pose your questions to him. It will also showcase some local initiatives. The workshop will be of interest to Personal and Public Involvement (PPI) representatives, researchers, health and social care professionals and anyone with an interest in implementing and evaluating PPI in research.
