What:  Brendan McKeever Book Launch and conversation - User Involvement - More Than Words

Where: Malone House, Barnet Demesne, Belfast BT9 5PB

When: Monday 18 November 2019, 2-4pm

Brendan McKeever MSc, PGCE, is a non-executive director with the Health and Social Care Board. Brendan is also a User Consultant at Queen’s University and the University of Ulster and has undertaken work to support projects to improve the care of people with disabilities. He has written widely on these matters and continues to assist organisations that provide and develop services for users and carers. Brendan reflects on his own experience of Involvement in HSC services within Northern Ireland and his personal engagement work with researchers to enhance understanding and awareness of what Involvement is.

In Conversation with Brendan McKeever will give participants an opportunity to hear more about Brendan’s new book – ‘User Involvement, More Than Words’. This event will be the official launch and books will be available to buy on the day.
