Prof Mike Clarke is the Director of the Northern Ireland Clinical Trials Unit (NICTU) funded by HSC R&D Division.
The NICTU are currently supporting the REALIST trial, a study investigating the use of Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) in patients with a complication known as Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) caused by COVID-19.
