Vacancy for Programme Manager Band 8a in HSC R&D Division (2 posts)

The Health & Social Care Research & Development Division of the Public Health Agency (HSC R&D Division) seeks to recruit a highly motivated individual with appropriate qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills to work as a Programme Manager to support ongoing implementation of the HSC Research & Development Strategy – Research for Better Health & Social Care (2016-2025). The post holder will act in support of the Assistant Director HSC R&D (AD) in terms of both scientific and administrative input to ensure the proper management of the various awards, grants, research programmes and projects funded by HSC R&D Division.

The Programme Manager will also have significant input into the strategic developmental aspects of the HSC R&D strategy providing scientific and professional advice. The Programme Manager will also work with the AD to maintain and develop a wide range of research specific policies and procedures governing the conduct of HSC R&D including those required to address the research governance agenda.

There are two posts available, 1 full time and 1 part time.
