Research study recruiting through "Join Dementia Research"

A study being funded by HSC R&D Division and The Atlantic Philanthropies in the Dementia Care Research Programme is using the Join Dementia Research initiative to successfully recruit people with dementia as participants.

The Compare Study, led by Professor Carmel Hughes at Queen’s University Belfast, is looking at how the management of medicines can be improved for people with dementia who may have a number of other medical conditions.

Dr Heather Barry the Research Fellow on the study (pictured), talks more about the project here.
