The Health and Social Care Research & Development Division is dedicated to advancing research and development within the medical field by supporting healthcare professionals in their pursuit of research excellence. As part of this commitment, we are pleased to announce funding opportunities through the funding for research time scheme. This initiative allows health and social care professionals to allocate part of their time to research, with the PHA covering a portion of their salary.
About the funding for research time scheme: The scheme aims to foster a culture of evidence-based practice and innovation within healthcare by enabling health and social care professionals to conduct research alongside their clinical duties. This initiative is designed to develop the research capacity within the health sector and promote the integration of cutting-edge research findings into everyday medical practice.
Awardees will continue their employment with their respective organisations throughout the duration of the funding and must hold or secure a contract of employment for the full duration of the award.
