On Tuesday 13 June, members of PIER (Public Involvement Enhancing Research) and NICRCF (The NI Cancer Research Consumer Forum) attended a workshop led by Professor Alistair Fee, marketing strategist, design thinker and co-founder of Squid Academy, who spoke on ‘Re-Imagining Research and Ideas. A Global Outsider’s View of Tomorrow.’
Alistair brought 30 years of international business experience to explore how new technologies, methods and models could shape Northern Ireland health systems in the next 20 years using many examples from research, medicine, and elsewhere. The morning was designed to increase cross pollination of ideas leading to effective collaboration.
