Funding Opportunity - Data Innovation Hub Incubator Programme

The Data Innovation Hub (DIH) has been established utilising funding under the UK Community Renewal Fund delivered by the secretary of state for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.  There is also a recent new article about the funding at https://www.armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk/council-secures-major-funding-from-the-uk-governments-community-renewal-fund/

And where a Dr. David Brownlee, Innovation Advisor at Health and Social Care (HSC) Innovations said:

“This is an excellent opportunity for Health and Social Care working in partnership with local Life Sciences and data analytics companies.  By harnessing the value of healthcare data, along with practical insights from clinical and healthcare professionals, solutions will be explored and tested to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat disease earlier.  It is hoped that a number of these solutions will result in products that will deliver future improvements in healthcare and ultimately benefit patients.”

The Data Innovation Hub provides a dedicated digital innovation facility to deliver a tried and tested service for the development of new products and services for use within healthcare.

Clinicians and researchers can work in partnership with our team of software engineers and data specialists to turn your ideas into reality.  Our programme offers access to facilities, expertise, and cash funding, including:

·       Desk space in Bleary Innovation Hub;
·       Data Innovation Hub co-design workshop;
·       Industry mentoring;
·       Education & skills development; and
·       Up to £15K of Project Funding to support the project including buying out clinical time to work on the project or purchase software or equipment.
